Student privacy comes first.

EFF collects nomination information for review, verification, communication, fraud prevention, competition operations, and—only after documented consent—public profile publication.

What is never published by default

Private email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, government identifiers, enrollment documents, payment details, and reviewer notes are not displayed on contestant profiles.

Photos and stories

A nominator may submit materials for private review, but EFF must obtain the nominee’s permission before publishing personal information or media.

Payments

Stripe processes payment information. EFF does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
